The Glass House by Philip Johnson

glass house interior

Very few homes impressed me as this one.
Maybe after few years of over design I need to
go back to a more natural approach and a minimalistic way
of leaving.
Looking at this stunning example of modernism I think
that air is the ultimate luxury.
The close contact with nature and the freedom to live in a green shell
are what I crave the most. I will simply bring 4 paintings to alternate
on the inside wall and a few Fornasetti and Hermès house items.
The "new" glass house will have all solar panels hidden in the roof,
will be water and energy efficent and all wi-fi.
Last but not least, in my new home I will add two bed pillows,
as many of you know in the true modernism spirit also pillows were eliminated!

I love the idea of having a single piece of art that you can change with
the seasons.....Look also at the fireplace. Divine.

The beadroom, no pillows but look at the view.......

The living room, very chic.
