PIERO FORNASETTI: I INVENTED THE TRAY Milano Triennale 2013

"Mi reputo l'inventore del vassoio perchè ad un certo punto
della nostra civiltà non si sapeva più come porgere un bicchiere,
un messaggio, una poesia
sono nato in una famiglia di pessimo buon gusto e faccio
del pessimo buon gusto la chiave della libertà"

" I consider myself the inventor of the tray because at one point in time
in our civilization we did not have any idea in how to serve a glass,
present a message or a poem
I was born into a family with an abominable sense of style,
I made the abominable sense of style the key of liberty"

Isa Vercelloni - Iconic Italian Journalist

The Great Barnaba Fornasetti
Ironic, mysterious, immaginative.
Thanks to him and his legacy today we can view a
spectacular 100 Years of La Maison Fornasetti.
Founded by his father Piero Fornasetti born on 10th November 1913
La Triennale of Milan presents a long due homage
to one of the National Treasures for Milan and Italy
FORNASETTI
not a spoiled brand, nor a commercial trend
but a long lasting love affair with design that is so
trasversal and unique.

Must see the whimsy video curated by Tony Meneguzzo

Wes Gordon moves forward Spring Summer 2014

Surely if Carolyne Bisset Kennedy was still alive she would have
been in front row of this elegant and classy collection.
Wes Gordon first runway show after a few seasons.
A wardrobe of easy to wear items, they can easly been displayed
in Bergdorf Goodman lavish windows.
They make the perfect canvas for a Lady who likes to
travel, wear expensive jewelry and add her touch of personality,
looking elegant without screamming a brand.
Bravo Wes! We keep following you.
